My son is a celiac, I asked if they had wheat free bread, they didn't, but by the next day they had ordered it in! I could not ask for better service.

On the other side I had toast, crumpets, muffins, pastries, james, fruit, grapefruit, yogurts, choice of eight cerials, choice of four fruit juices and much more! Oh yes porridge too. The breakfast had all you could imagine, honestly, working my way down the hot plate, I had a choice of mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled egg, beans, hash browns, bacon, fried eggs and sausages. There was a picture of a duck in the bath, which said 'you have found the duck that needs to be returned to reception for a gift and the children ran to reception with it, all excited to be given sweets as a gift. The room was warm, comfortable, mattress comfy. I have stayed in many premier Inns and this was far the best! Great setting on a lakeside, nice walks, scenic, quiet, play area for kids. Honestly, next time I stayed in Milton Keynes would probably go somewhere else. So Basically it was the hotel rooms that let it down, needs updating, staff were great and do a fab job.

Small issues were the croissants were in individual packs, where in the past they have been lovely and fresh in other Prem inn's. Hubby and 2 kids had cooked breakfast and there were no complaint's, sausages were a hit. We had breakfast which we usually do in Premier inn's, as it's a great deal. I know these appear little issues, but it just makes you feel the whole place is unclean and unkept. There was quite a large(handprint size) chunk of plaster missing off the wall near the bed. Bathroom smelt of urine, not sure we didn't have a leaky toilet as it looked a bit yellow around the toilet stool, the bath edge enamel was all worn off and had gone rusty, it looked horrid. It wasn't so much dirty, although there were a fair few cobwebs at side of bed and ceiling corner's( not crime of the century, just off putting). Sent through to room, have to say was not to usual standard have experienced in Premier inn's. So arrived and greeted by a wonderful young gentleman who was very helpful and knew his job well. Have stayed in some fab premier inn's before, the best being Trentham, followed by Goodrington. Looking forward to short stay here, looked like lovely surroundings.
